More Thomas Davies

Canadian biographical dictionary entry here. We know Thomas Davies' work from the American Revolution period - see his work here. This A View near Point Levy opposite Quebec with an Indian Encampment, Taken in 1788 (1788 ) is particularly famous and is a lovely scene. It is supposed to depict an Iroquois summer camp. From this site with more from the period here
